Week - 3

1. Focus: Blend breathwork, meditation, and mobility exercises aligned with the sun. (Surya) and moon (Chandra) energies.
2. Implement stretching and breath-led movement to increase body awareness and emotional balance.
3. Incorporate drills for balance, coordination, and agility, laying the groundwork for responsive movement.

Week - 4

1. Focus: Introduce the attacking form of Maypayattu, emphasizing posture, flow, and intention.
2. Train in barehand self-defense techniques, exploring real-world applications.
3. Include partner drills or light sparring to build timing, precision, and tactical awareness.

With over 15 years of experience, I am a dedicated Kalari Payattu instructor passionate about preserving and sharing this ancient Indian martial art. My journey began in Kerala, the birthplace of Kalari, where I trained under some of the most revered Gurukkals (masters).
